These sessions include training and information relating to hearing loss on the use of technological devices including:

  • Mobile phones – Apple and Android
  • Tablets – iPads, Android and Microsoft tablets
  • Landlines – Corded, Cordless, and Text Telephones.
  • Assistive Technology – Hearing devices including Hearing Loop Systems, FM systems, Infrared systems and Counter Loop systems.

These consultations are completed at the individual’s home, providing comprehensive information on how to adapt the home environment to help improve the communication skills, confidence, and independence of each individual. These sessions also provide information on the devices that are available in the market for people living with hearing loss or deafness, as well as training on how to use these products.
